Some days I forget just how amazing life can be.  Wendesday was not one of those days.  While standing in the middle of 91,000 people watching U2’s Bono take a step back from the microphone and take in the sounds of the colossal crowd singing his songs I found myself closing my eyes and just taking in that energy.

As much as I love a small club show nothing at all could compare to the intensity of large stadium shows.  Sure, they are nowhere near as personal in most cases, but they offer something so different.    Overwhelming numbers offer you every ounce of their overwhelming emotion.  Being in the middle of that is more spiritually gratifying to me than anything else I have ever experienced.

I think the guys have hit the nail on the head by ending their shows with Moment of Surrender.
